Our Rupertichalet is located in a nice and quiet residential area directly at the valley station of the Schmittenhöhe cable car and only about 2 km from the city center of Zell am See. The house was extensively renovated in 2025 and now impresses with its modern and cozy ambiance.
On the ground floor you will find an inviting entrance area as well as a spacious living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table for up to 8 people and a flat-screen TV. There is also a bathroom and a bedroom with four bunk beds.
On the upper floor there are two further bedrooms with comfortable double beds, each with a flat-screen TV and access to the balcony. The floor is completed by another bathroom and an extra toilet.
In the basement there is a practical ski cellar or storage room, which can be reached via the internal staircase in the house as well as via a separate external entrance.
In summer, the cozy terrace invites you to spend relaxing hours and sociable get-togethers.

The location
Located directly at the valley station of the Schmittenhöhe cable car, the TrassXpress and the Sonnenalmbahn, you can reach the middle of the ski or hiking area with one of these mountain railways. A ski rental and the ski school are also located in the immediate vicinity of the valley station. You can easily reach the center of Zell am See (2km) by bus, which leaves from the front door.

The hosts
Stefan took over the house, which was built in the 1960s, from his grandparents. The house already served as a guest house in the 60s and 70s. During this time, Stefan’s grandparents lovingly took care of their guests. We want to continue this tradition and are there for you during your entire stay.
We will greet you upon your arrival, hand over the keys and give you a brief tour of the house. We are available with advice and assistance for all questions and are happy to help with a wealth of local knowledge and advice.
